Southwest passion!
Is it a coincidence or not, the vast majority of our teams are from the Southwest. This is perhaps the reason why the identity of the brand has always been deeply rooted in this corner of France. Plums , figs , our Le Verger Bath & Body range… This passion shines through in our collections with priority given to suppliers from the South-West, to promote the local economy . It is in this same logic that we systematically seek suppliers as close as possible to our headquarters in Lot-et-Garonne. Cases, bottles, labels, perfumed bases have one thing in common: they are all produced in the South of France. “Our ambition is to aim daily for “Made in France” excellence in “Responsible” perfumery and cosmetics ,” says Philippe Balesta, General Manager of the company’s production department.
A natural composition
All of our perfumes are made from fragrances from Grasse, the French capital of perfume, and selected for their olfactory qualities. The South, always! They are composed of 87% natural ingredients. Since our beginnings, our teams have naturally turned to a wheat alcohol base, 100% natural, not denatured with diethyl-phthalate, more respectful of your health. For our packs, we have chosen to use a glass bottle, a wooden stopper and a cardboard case. Thus, we can encourage our customers to effectively recycle their LSG perfumes with materials that meet this requirement. As for our parcels, the cardboard boxes that we use to send you your orders contain at least 71% recycled paper and the “chips” that we have selected to protect your products are 100% recycled. In the same way, our teams are constantly questioning themselves to improve their formulas and make them more and more irreproachable regarding the protection of the environment. So, stay tuned!
An environmentally friendly company
Filler, seamer, labeller… Les Senteurs Gourmandes can boast of benefiting from “in -house” production from its production plant in Lot-et-Garonne. The company is a human-sized SME with a team dedicated to Production, a Research & Development team for formulations, a Marketing and Digital team to work on its image, and a Purchasing team to find the best packaging. The site meets HQE (High Environmental Quality) standards with a zero risk of leakage guarantee. We also control our energy production thanks to 720m² of photovoltaic panels. At the same time, we collect rainwater in a 20m3 tank for garden maintenance and we have set up recycling of all cardboard packaging using an on-site compactor.
