The LES SENTEURS GOURMANDES brand has been supporting you on a daily basis since 1987. It was therefore time to introduce you to the enthusiasts behind all these beautiful products! Today, we invite you to meet Aurélie, our marketing director. Even if she appreciates all the Eau de Parfum, she confesses all about her favorite…

Can you introduce yourself?

I arrived at Les Senteurs Gourmandes in 2016, and I have held the position of Marketing Director since 2019.

Aurelie Badie

What attracted you to Thé Absolu Eau de Parfum?

Thé Absolu was my first Eau de Parfum development. Les Senteurs Gourmandes is a brand with an extraordinary olfactory richness, which revolves around iconic families such as Vanilla, Oud, Floral… The creative possibilities are endless.

Your inspirations to create this perfume?

Thé Absolu was born from the desire to create a soft and slightly green eau de parfum, inspired by the aromas of green tea, with reassuring notes without being too round or sweet. I wanted to work around serenity, and offer a composition that calls for refocusing on one’s well-being, with a perfect balance between lightness and hold. It was also important to work on a perfume that could appeal to both men and women, and I believe that we have succeeded in this bet with this composition.

How do you develop a perfume?

We worked hand in hand with one of our nose partners to build Thé Absolu, and give birth to this creation around green, floral and woody notes with tea, jasmine, cedar and white musk. In accordance with our commitments on Les Senteurs Gourmandes, we have favored naturalness, to offer this composition with 88% ingredients of natural origin .

The name Thé Absolu was determined to recall inspiration of course, but also this return to basics. On the color code side, it was necessary to illustrate this serenity with a beautiful green, and 2017 was precisely the year of the Pantone Greenery color , a Granny Smith apple green. A nice coincidence for this launch!

Has Thé Absolu conquered other hearts?

Today, Thé Absolu ranks among our best references and we are very proud of it.

What’s your secret to making it last all day?

I put it in the morning with a drop inside each wrist, and on the neck just below the ears. And of course, I always have the small 15ml format with me for possible touch-ups at the end of the day.
