This intense and vanilla scented water is one of our first olfactory creations.
Worked with natural essences of Vanilla, this sweet and gourmet composition is the symbol of the Les Senteurs Gourmandes brand. It is at the same time regressive, sensual, feminine and sweet. We are the first perfume house to have dared this Eau de Parfum mono fragrance yet complex. Enriched with several hundred different aromatic compounds, Vanille de la Réunion eau de parfum seduces today with its balanced and emotionally charged olfactory construction.
Among the four olfactory universes sources of our inspiration (traditional vanilla, travel diary, childhood memories, the orchard), the Vanilla Eau de Parfum from Réunion has naturally imposed itself in the family of Traditional Vanillas.
It must be said that it is THE reference vanilla. It is also the most widely used in the world. A dark, oily, supple vanilla with delicate and floral aromas, favoring the strong warm notes of cocoa.
On his return to Spain in 1521, Cortes introduced this black pod to Charles V. It was in 1664 that she arrived at the court of France for the first time. Louis XIV succumbed to its aroma and ordered that vanilla plants be grown on the island of Réunion, a name given by the first French settlers in tribute to the royal family, better known today as Ile de la Meeting. This attempt ended in failure, the technique of fertilization of this magnificent orchid that is vanilla still remains a mystery. But, in 1841, on the island of Reunion, a miracle happened…
This eau de parfum is composed of 87% natural ingredients.
We select high quality pure ingredients from the surrounding nature and natural vanilla extracts from Madagascar and Mexico. They are associated with a 100% natural alcohol, guaranteed phthalate-free to obtain compositions with sincere notes that come to life on the skin.
In keeping with tradition, 21 days of maceration are necessary to guarantee a balanced olfactory construction. This work allows the subtle alliance of all the ingredients. Particular care is also given to the glazing and filtration stages which determine the stability and consistency of the compositions over time.
